Live Facial Recognition Operation

Dear Resident,

On Wednesday 25th February 2026 Hounslow Neighbourhood Policing Team has conducted a Live Facial Recognition Operation on Hounslow High Street. The purpose of the operation was to assist with outstanding suspects as well as locating missing persons. During the deployment there were 5 arrests and 10 people of interest stopped. The technology has allowed officers to capture wanted offenders that would have otherwise blended into the crowd and evade detection.
